Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 18 years old and an Indian resident (during the India-first phase) to create a worker account. One person, one account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials private and your profile details accurate. Accounts created with false identity information will be suspended.

2. Nature of the relationship

Contributors are independent contractors, not employees of SideCash.ai (final classification language pending legal review). You choose which projects to apply to and which tasks to start. Task rates are shown before you begin work; completing a task is an offer of work product that becomes payable when it passes review and payout approval.

3. Work quality and review

All submissions pass quality review against the task instructions. Reviewers may approve, request correction, or reject with reasons. Repeated low quality may pause assignments until retraining. Deliberate low-effort or fraudulent submissions (random tags, fabricated recordings, plagiarised work) are grounds for suspension and forfeiture of unapproved amounts, subject to the dispute process.

4. Payments

Approved work creates entries in your payout ledger. Payouts require completed identity and payout verification, move through the batch process described on the Payouts page, and are subject to a minimum payout threshold (placeholder). Statutory deductions (such as TDS where applicable) will be shown in your ledger. If a payout is held, the reason and next step are always displayed.

5. Consent, privacy, and recordings

Project participation may require specific consents, described in plain language before you accept. For recording projects you must follow the privacy recording rules at all times: consent from every adult present, no children or non-consenting people, and no sensitive items in frame. Violating recording rules is a serious breach and may result in immediate suspension and deletion of affected data.

6. Intellectual property

Upon payment approval, work product you submit for a project is assigned to SideCash.ai and/or its client as described in the project terms. You retain no rights to client footage you annotate. Platform content, training materials, and software remain the property of SideCash.ai.

7. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

• Create multiple or false-identity accounts.
• Share, sell, or publish project data, footage, or instructions.
• Use automation to complete tasks unless a project explicitly permits it.
• Attempt to access data or areas of the platform beyond your role.
• Harass staff or other contributors.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend accounts for breach of these terms, with the reason recorded. You may close your account at any time from Settings; approved unpaid balances above the minimum threshold are paid out in the normal cycle, and data deletion follows the retention rules in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disputes and grievances

Work disputes (such as rejected submissions) follow the in-platform dispute process. Formal grievances follow the grievance route with stated timelines. Governing law: India; jurisdiction placeholder pending legal review.

10. Changes to these terms

We will notify you of material changes in-app and by email at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
