Is SideCash.ai real?

Yes. SideCash.ai is an AI data operations platform that recruits, trains, and pays contributors for verified AI data projects run for real clients. Every project on the platform has a named client engagement behind it, a defined quality process, and a transparent payout ledger. We never ask you to pay to join.

What kind of work will I do?

Two kinds today: video tagging (watching clips and adding accurate action labels with timestamps) and robotics household data collection (recording everyday home tasks like washing dishes or folding clothes with a wearable camera, under strict consent and privacy rules). More project categories are added as client demand grows.

When will I get paid?

After your work passes quality review and the payout is approved. Approved earnings appear in your ledger, are grouped into payout batches, and move through scheduled, processing, and paid states. You can track every state change with dates in your dashboard.

Why is KYC needed?

We collect identity and payout details only to verify eligibility, prevent fraud, and process approved payouts. Sensitive details are masked for most internal users; only a small compliance team can access documents, and every access is logged with a reason.

Is Aadhaar mandatory?

No. PAN-only verification is a fully supported route. Aadhaar, where supported, is handled through consent-based masked or offline verification routes only. SideCash.ai does not require broad storage of full Aadhaar numbers, and an alternate ID review route is available.

What happens if my task is rejected?

You see the reviewer's specific feedback in your submissions page. Many rejections allow correction and resubmission. If you believe a rejection is wrong, open a rejection dispute ticket within 7 days and a different reviewer re-checks the work.

How much can I earn?

Earnings depend on the projects you qualify for, the time you commit, and your quality scores. Every task shows its rate before you start, and your ledger shows exactly what was earned, approved, and paid. We do not promise unrealistic income; this is real work with real quality standards.

Do I need special equipment?

For video tagging: a smartphone or computer with a reliable internet connection. For robotics data collection: a smartphone with a good camera to start; wearable camera kits are provided for scale phases of the project.

Is there a joining fee?

Never. SideCash.ai never charges workers to join, to train, or to receive tasks. Anyone asking you for a fee in our name is a fraud; please report it through the grievance page.

Who sees my bank details?

Almost nobody. Your payout destination is stored encrypted, shown masked (last 4 digits only) everywhere in our admin tools, and used only by restricted payment systems to process approved payouts. Team leads and managers can see payout status labels, never account numbers.

Who can see my recordings?

Only the reviewers assigned to your project's quality process and, for approved data, the specific client of that project under contract. Recordings are never public, never used for marketing, and you can request deletion of a clip from your Privacy Centre before client approval.

Can my family appear in recordings?

Only adults who have explicitly consented, and only where the project allows it. Children must never appear in any recording, and visitors must never appear. Our training covers exactly how to frame tasks so people stay out of view.

What is the minimum payout?

The minimum payout threshold is shown in your payout settings (a placeholder amount in this demo). Balances below the threshold roll into the next cycle automatically; nothing expires.

How long does verification take?

PAN verification is usually instant to a few hours. Manual reviews (alternate ID route or flagged checks) take up to 2 working days. Your verification page always shows the current status and the next step.

Can I work from anywhere in India?

Yes. Both project types are fully remote. Some robotics projects may prioritise specific regions when hardware kits are being distributed, which is shown on the project page.

How is my quality score calculated?

Reviewers score submissions against project instructions and reference answers. Your quality score is the recent average and is shown in your dashboard. Higher scores unlock larger batches and higher-rate projects.

Can I do this alongside a job or studies?

Yes. You choose your availability during onboarding and can change it any time in Settings. Tasks have deadlines, but you pick which tasks to start.

What if I want my data deleted?

Open your Privacy Centre and submit an erasure request. Account and profile data are deleted subject to legal retention rules (for example, payout records must be kept for tax compliance). The request status is tracked and every processing step is audited.

Why was my payout held?

A hold always comes with a reason shown in your ledger, such as a KYC name mismatch or a quality re-check. Fix the stated issue or reply to the linked ticket, and the payout is released into the next batch.

Can I refer friends?

Yes, there is a referral code field at signup. Referral rewards are credited to your ledger after your friend completes verification and their first approved task.

Is my personal information sold?

No, never. Personal information is used only to run the platform: verification, task assignment, quality review, payouts, and support. Clients receive project data and aggregate quality metrics, never your identity documents or contact details.
